MCI’s Bertrand Up For ‘Most Valuable Coach’ Award

MCI football coach Tom Bertrand is one of 50 high school football coaches across the country nominated for a 'Most Valuable Coach' award. Brunswick coach Dan Cooper is also nominated.

The award voting is being conducted by US Celluar Most Valuable Coach.

Coaches had to be first nominated and now through October 17th fans can vote online. The top 15 vote-getters get $1,000 donated to their school. The top two get a $5,000 school donation and the two coaches will be recognized at the Under Armor HS All-American Game.

Bertrand and his Huskies are two-time defending LTC champs and are 6-0 this season.
