A 36-year-old Massachusetts man faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing crack cocaine in the Bangor area.

Adam “Pacman” Williams of Worcester, Mass. entered the plea Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Bangor, according to acting U.S. Attorney Richard W. Murphy.

Court records show that on April 10, 2015, a witness working with law enforcement purchased $200 worth of crack from Williams in a parking lot on Union Street in Bangor.

Williams faces up to 20 years in prison, a $1,000,000 fine, and between three years and a lifetime of supervised release. He will be sentenced after the completion of a presentence investigation report by the U.S. Probation Office.

The investigation was conducted by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
