Masardis: Troopers Respond To Woman Throwing Rocks at Cars, Kicks & Breaks Police Windshield

Saturday at approximately 10:15 P.M. Troopers Gavin Endre and Nick Casavant responded to a report of a female standing in the middle of Route 11 in Masardis.

According to police, the female was refusing to move out of the way of traffic and was throwing rocks at cars. At one point, she approached a vehicle and assaulted the operator, said police.

Trooper Endre arrived and was able to safely take the woman into custody. While Trooper Endre was following up with witnesses, the 41 year old female kicked Trooper Endre’s windshield breaking it, police said.

The woman was transported to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation. Investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police at 532-5400 or 1800-924-2261 for Trooper Endre.
