Margo Price has treated fans to an alternate music video version of her 2016 song "Hands of Time." Readers can press play above to watch the gritty, vintage footage of Price and her family through the early years of her childhood and young adulthood. "Hands of Time" was originally included on Price's 2016 album Midwest Farmer's Daughter, and the official music video for the tune was released in November of that year.

Marking the second anniversary of the album release, Price revisited the song with another take, including a different glimpse into the coming-of-age story, set in her hometown of Aledo, Ill., and her early years in the music industry. The slow and sentimental song takes an autobiographical journey through Price's life, through the trials of her father losing the family farm during her childhood, and her own loss of a child -- Price's son, Ezra, who was the first-born of a set of twins and died at two weeks old from a heart condition.

In the two years since releasing Midwest Farmer's Daughter and the official music video for "Hands of Time," Price released her sophomore album, All American Madein October of 2017. That album, featuring the poignant protest song "Pay Gap," was met with critical acclaim, and cemented Price's connection not only to music, but also to using her art to bring attention to the social inequalities most important to her. Earlier this month, Price appeared on Conan with a politically charged performance of the song.

Price's Nowhere Fast Tour, in support of All American Made, is slated to run through March. Stay up to date by heading over to her website.
