Brad Marchand scored three times in the third period to lead the Boston Bruins to a 6-3 win in Vancouver last night. Another two points in the standings for the B's who are in a mad dash to make the playoffs with 13 games.

Marchand scored a powerplay goal in the first minute of the third period to tie the game 3-3. He added an unassisted goal with about eight minutes left that turned out to be the game winner. And then added an empty-netter to ice it.

Marchand now has 35 goals. tied with Sidney Crosy for the NHL lead.

Tuukka Rask made 26 saves.

The Bruins are 37-26-6, good for 80 points in the standings.

Next on this roadtrip, a matchup with Calgary tomorrow night.
