Body Found Near a Road in Lebanon, Maine

State Police say the death of a young man whose body was found alongside a road in Lebanon Saturday afternoon is under investigation. 

The body was found by a woman walking along the Long Swamp Road around 4 p.m., according to a press release from Steve McCausland of the Maine Department of Public Safety.

The man is believed to be in his 20’s and had no identification on him. State Police are reviewing missing person’s reports from Maine and other New England states, McCausland said.

An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta.
