Man Killed in Workplace Accident at Plaster Rock Sawmill

A fatal workplace accident at the Twin Rivers lumber millin Plaster Rock, New Brunswick is under investigation.  CLICK HERE FOR UPDATE: Victim of lumber mill accident identified.

The RCMP responded Wednesday afternoon to the reported death of a man in his 50's.

Twin Rivers Paper Company CEO Tim Lowe said they are deeply saddened by the accident that took the life of an employee and friend. WorkSafeNB is investigating.

Lowe said the company will release more information once the investigation has wrapped up.

The Plaster Rock mill employs about 200 people.
