A little girl from Fort Kent had her day made on Friday when Make-A-Wish Maine came to her school putting on a party.

According to Sue Miller with Make-A-Wish Maine, officials with the foundation went to the Fort Kent Elementary School and held an informative gathering with the school children, showing a short video about Make-A-Wish.

One of the teachers at the school, Laurie Levesque read a book about kids and chemo entitled, "Chemo to the Rescue" to the children.

The school sang the song from the movie Frozen, as practice for their upcoming school concert. Cinderella even made an appearance!

Sue Miller gave a short speech and presented Wish Kid Kearston Albert and her siblings with backpacks with goodies to keep them busy on their flight. Kearston and her family will be going to Give Kids the World Disney Resort in Florida over Christmas.

Make-A-Wish even gave a small gift to each child in the school.

The event was finished with Cake for the whole school.

Kearston Albert was diagnosed with a form of childhood leukemia in 2012.
