South Porltand's Brett Brown could end up on the wrong side NBA history tonight when his Philadelphia 76ers play the Los Angeles Lakers.

Brown's 76ers are 0-18, tied for the worst start to a season in league history (New Jersey 2009). A loss tonight gives Philly the dubious record. Going back to last year, Philly is 0-28.

But keep this in mind - the Lakers are almost as bad as the 76ers with a 2-14 record.

Kobe Bryant plays back in his hometown of Philly and it's his first game since announcing this season will be his last.

Someone has to win tonight!

Brett Brown is the son of longtime high school and college coach Bob Brown.
