UPDATE: The Maine Warden Service reports two teens who got lost while snowmobiling in the Rumford area Monday night have been found alive and well.  Wardens say the boys got stuck in a snowdrift and were able to find a small shelter to spend the night.  Overnight temperatures drop to near 0°F.   A passerby found the two boys Tuesday morning and they were reunited with family members.

Wardens say 15-year-old Ty Howard-Gotto and his friend Jonah May, of North Smithfield, Rhode Island had planned to snowmobile from Mexico to Andover, Maine.

The two teens left around 7:30 p.m. and were supposed to be headed to Ty's grandfather's camp on South Arm Road in Andover but did not arrive when they were expected around 10 Monday night.

The boys were riding an orange 2007 Arctic Cat Crossfire snowmobile.

Game wardens are asking that anyone who might have information on the boys’ whereabouts to call the public safety dispatch center in Gray at 207-657-3030.
