Troop F of the Maine State Police responded to 120 calls for service this past week in Aroostook County and outlying areas. Here are the incidents posted in their weekly report:

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 1/01/2017 Town: Presque Isle Trooper: Tr. Pescitelli Brief Synopsis: Tr. Pescitelli learned that a male subject Presque Isle had a warrant for his arrest. With the assistance of Presque Isle PD Tr. Pescitelli and Officer Cote went to subject’s address and were able to make contact with him. He was arrested without incident and transported to Aroostook County Jail to be processed.

Incident Type: Warrant Date: 1/03/2017 Town: Mapleton Trooper: Tr. Pescitelli Brief Synopsis: Tr. Pescitelli learned that a female subject from Mapleton had an active warrant for her arrest. Tr. Pescitelli went to the address listed on the warrant and was able to make contact with her mother. The mother advised Tr. Pescitelli that she did not live there and that she would be posting her bail. Two days later the female made contact with Houlton RCC inquiring about turning herself in. Tr. Casavant met with her at Presque Isle PD to arrest her on the warrant.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 1/03/2017 Town: Littleton Trooper: Tr. Pescitelli Brief Synopsis: Tr. Pescitelli learned that a male subject had an active warrant for his arrest. Tr. Pescitelli was familiar with the subject due to previous incidents, he went to his residence in Littleton and was able to make contact with him. He was informed of the warrant, arrested without incident, and transported to Aroostook County Jail to be processed.

Incident Type: CRIMINAL SPEED Date: 1/03/2017 Town: Bridgewater Trooper: Tr. Pescitelli Brief Synopsis: On the above date Tr. Pescitelli was monitoring traffic and running stationary radar in the town of Bridgewater on Route 1. He observed a 4-door sedan which appeared to be travelling at an excessive rate of speed being operated by a female. Tr. Pescitelli activated the radar unit in his cruiser and found the vehicle was travelling at 63 mph in a 30 mph zone. Tr. Pescitelli initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the operator was issued a criminal summons for speed.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 1/04/2017 Town: Linneus Trooper: Tr. Sylvia Brief Synopsis: Tr. Sylvia arrested a Linneus woman on a warrant for failure to appear on an assault charge out of Bangor District Court.

Incident Type: PROBATION VIOLATION Date: 1/04/2017 Town: Merrill Trooper: Tr. Saucier Brief Synopsis: Tr. Saucier took a report of a protection order violation in the town of Merrill. A woman reported that a male subject that she had a protection order out against had spoken with her recently. The male subject was not immediately located and a warrant for his arrest will be sought. The subject was also on probation and a hold was placed on him.

Incident Type: THEFT Date: 1/08/2017 Town: Woodland Trooper: Cpl. Michaud Brief Synopsis: Cpl. Michaud spoke with a male subject in Woodland who reported his adult daughter had stolen his vehicle. Eventually the vehicle was returned without incident and no charges were brought against the woman.
