Troop F of the Maine State Police responded to 86 calls for service in and around Aroostook County this past week. Here are the incidents featured in their weekly report:

Incident Type: OAS Date: 12/24/2018 Town: HODGDON Trooper: TR. BELL Brief Synopsis: Tr Bell observed a vehicle being operated by a male that he was familiar with drive into the parking lot of a convenience store in Hodgdon. Tr Bell was aware that this male was under suspension. Tr Bell watched the male leave the store and drive off, after which Tr Bell pulled him over and summonsed him for OAS.

Incident Type: BURGLARY Date: 12/26/2018 Town: HODGDON Trooper: TR. KILCOLLINS Brief Synopsis: Trooper Kilcollins responded to a residence in Hodgdon for a reported burglary. The homeowner and her daughter arrived home to find the front door ajar. Tr. Kilcollins arrived and cleared the residence. Nothing was taken from the home other than the homeowner stating that the toilet lid was left up and it wasn’t when she left. Tr. Kilcollins could not find any forced entry to the residence and learned that the front door would not latch completely.

Incident Type: CRIMINAL SPEED Date: 12/26/2018 Town: FRENCHVILLE Trooper: TR. DESROSIER Brief Synopsis: Tr. Desrosier was on routine patrol in the early morning hours on December 26th and observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Tr. Desrosier stopped the vehicle in Frenchville for 30 miles per hour over the posted limit. Tr. Desrosier summoned the man for criminal speed.

Incident Type: VIOLATION OF BAIL Date: 12/26/2018 Town: ST. JOHN Trooper: TR. CURTIN Brief Synopsis: Tr. Curtin pulled over a vehicle in St. John after recognizing a female driver that he was aware did not have a license. The woman was also on bail and her male passenger was on probation. The woman was arrested for OAS and VCR. The vehicle was impounded and Tr. Curtin is in the process of applying for a search warrant based on information he learned during the investigation.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 12/27/2018 Town: CASWELL Trooper: TR. LEVESQUE Brief Synopsis: Tr. Levesque received a call from Houlton PD reporting that there was a man in Caswell who had an active warrant for his arrest from one of their cases. Tr. Levesque responded to the residence and placed the man under arrest and transported him to the Aroostook County Jail without incident.

Incident Type: FIREARM RELATED INCIDENT Date: 12/28/2018 Town: MAPLETON Trooper: TR. KILCOLLINS Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins took a complaint of a missing or stolen hand gun in Mapleton. Tr. Kilcollins contacted the owner who stated that he could not remember where he put the gun and was not confident that it was stolen or just misplaced. Tr. Kilcollins put a file out for the missing gun.

Incident Type: OAS (X4) Date: 12/29/2018 Town: PRESQUE ISLE Trooper: TR. PESCITELLI Brief Synopsis: On December 29th between 1130hrs and 1415hrs, Tr Pescitelli stopped 4 vehicles and found the operators to be OAS/OAR. At 1130hrs, Tr Pescitelli stopped a 17 year-oldfemale and summonsed her for OAS, then at 1340hrs he stopped a 29 year-old female and summonsed her for OAS. At 1415hrs, Tr Pescitelli ran a registration plate that showed the 26 year-old female was under suspension and he stopped and summonsed her. When clearing that stop, Tr Pescitelli saw a vehicle that he was familiar with pass by him and Tr Pescitelli knew the operator was OAR. Tr Pescitelli followed him into a parking lot and arrested the 25 year-old male for OAR and transported him to PIPD where the male made bail.

Incident Type: DRUG POSSESSION/ VCR Date: 12/30/2018 Town: WESTFIELD Trooper: TR. PESCITELLI Brief Synopsis: Tr Pescitelli was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in Westfield. Upon arrival, Tr Pescitelli found that the 20 year-old female operator was OAS and on bail for drug charges. Tr Pescitelli searched the female’s purse and found a quantity of meth and pills. Tr Pescitelli arrested the female and transported her to Aroostook County Jail, charging her with OAS, VCR and possession of scheduled W and Y drugs.
