The producers of "Maine on the Street" hit the cobblestone streets of Portland in their first episode to ask ridiculous and unimportant questions.

In the first of what will hopefully be many episodes, the host proudly starts the series with this monologue:

Hello. Welcome to Maine on the Street. My name is Noah, and this is a show where we are in Maine and we're goin' to the streets to interview people. It's a take on the expression "Man on the Street," but "Maine on the Street," because we're in Maine."
