Maine Father and Son Charged with Trafficking in Oxycodone
ELLSWORTH, Maine (AP) — Maine drug agents say they've arrested a 52-year-old man and his 20-year-old son on drug trafficking charges.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says Keith Madore and his son, Nathaniel Madore, were charged Monday following an investigation into oxycodone distribution in Hancock County.
Officials say the Madores and a third man were stopped in Ellsworth after allegedly picking up oxycodone in Penobscot County. Agents say they seized oxycodone with a street value of $4,000 from the vehicle.
The Madores, who live in Trenton, and 20-year-old Zachary Wentworth of Southwest Harbor were charged with trafficking in oxycodone. Jail officials didn't know if they had lawyers.
