Maine Does Well On The List Of 2016’s Best States For Women’s Equality

Women's Equality Day is Friday, August 26th and a recent study done by WalletHub.com, shows that Maine is one of the best states for women's equality.

The study used 15 key metrics to get to their findings and Maine ranked as the 3rd best state in the country for women's equality.

Maine was second when it came to smallest political representation disparity.

Hawaii and Alaska were first and second ahead of Maine on the list.

Vermont and New Hampshire were also in the top six on the list of best states for women's equality.

Utah came in last on the list.
