Kansas' finest, Logan Mize, took the Country Jam Colorado 2015 stage and brought the temperature up a few more notches. The man who rocks #DadBod better than most played the event Thursday afternoon (June 18) in the heat of the day, but he still looked cool, and he still rocked the crowd.

Mize hit the stage in the middle of the mountains wearing one of his signature button-downs and a pair of bright green shades.  "Thanks for coming out," he told the early crowd. "I know it's early and hot. We love you for it."

The newcomer's set prepared the crowd for a day that would include headliners the Band Perry, in addition to LoCash and Parmalee. A few songs into his performance, Mize told the eager audience he wanted to have a party in his "El Camino," and echoes of the lyrics could be heard throughout the festival grounds.

"I hope you're having fun. I hope you're diggin' this," he added. He got a few more folks singing along when he did his best Tom Petty cover, "You Wreck Me," before saying that even though he got some dust in his eyes, he was "having the time of his life."

That was followed by "Sunflowers," "Prairieville" and his current radio single, "Can't Get Away From a Good Time." Country Jam 2015 continues through Sunday with headliners Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Toby Keith still to follow.
