Local Elks Host Hoop Shoot Contest

If you're between the ages of 8 and 13 and you fancy yourself a decent foul shooter then Saturday, December 28th is a day to pencil in your calendar.

There will be two Elks Hoop Shoot competitions in two separate towns on Saturday, December 28th. They're both scheduled for roughly the same time so you'll have to take your pick. The Limestone Recreation Department's Veteran's Gymnasium will be the site of one of the competitions and the other will be hosted by the Caribou Parks & Recreation Department.

Warm-ups in Limestone begin at 9am and the competition starts at 9:30. In Caribou, warm-ups begin at 9:30 with the competition at 10am. Both events are open to boys and girls Ages 8 - 13 and are absolutely FREE! Winners in each age group will move on to the regional competition.
