The new video for Little Big Town's current single 'Your Side of the Bed' offers fans what you have to hope is a fictional look inside the marriage of two of their principals, singers Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook.

The group premiered the new clip during an appearance on 'Good Morning America' this week. Directed by Becky Fluke, the video was shot at the Tennessee Theater and the Oliver Hotel in Knoxville, Tenn.

Like the song itself, the clip is painfully familiar to anyone whose marriage has gone through a period of distance and discontent. The plot shows Fairchild and Westbrook in their real-life roles as co-performers in a celebrated touring act who are also together off stage, playing on their onstage chemistry and contrasting that with the uncomfortable, awkward silence that settles on them when they're alone.

It's about as far from the light entertainment of last year's breakthrough 'Pontoon' as any one video could be -- and that's a good thing, since Little Big Town seem to be in the process of proving that they can move forward from that commercial leap and succeed in other styles without being defined by one runaway hit.
