Little Big Town and Sturgill Simpson have joined the lineup of performers scheduled to take the stage during the 2017 Grammy Awards ceremony later this month.

Little Big Town are two-time Grammy Awards winners, though they are not nominated at all at in 2017; however, they have a new album, The Breaker, scheduled for release on Feb. 24, and will be performing at a Grammys tribute to the Bee Gees on Feb. 14. Simpson, meanwhile, is a two-time Grammys nominee in 2017: He's up for Best Country Album and for the all-genre Album of the Year award, both for his newest release, A Sailor's Guide to Earth.

"It's important to the Recording Academy that the Grammy stage showcases artists across all disciplines and genres, and we take pride in our ability to elevate the best in music while, at the same time, introducing audiences to sounds and songs they’d previously not heard," says Neil Portnow, president / CEO of the Recording Academy, in a press release. "As fans' access to music has increased, so has their appetite for variety expanded. This year's lineup already reflects that — and we're still not done!"

In addition to LBT and Simpson's 2017 Grammy Awards performances, the Recording Academy has also announced that William Bell and Gary Clark Jr., as well as Chance the Rapper, will be performing at the 2017 awards ceremony. Previously announced performers include Maren Morris with Alicia Keys, Anderson .Paak with A Tribe Called Quest and Dave Grohl, the Weeknd with Daft Punk, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, Adele, John Legend, Bruno Mars and Metallica.

The 59th annual Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on Feb. 12. The Late Late Show host James Corden will host the televised ceremony, which will begin at 8PM ET on CBS; the pre-telecast Premiere Ceremony will begin at 3:30PM ET and be available to stream online.
