Lifeflight Helicopter Airlifts Driver in Sidney Rollover Crash [PHOTOS]
State Police say a Sidney woman was injured Monday when her car overturned five times off the West River Road in Sidney.
Corporal Diane Vance said the crash took place just before 11am. Jordan Agger, 20-years-old, was driving vehicle northbound when she lost control of the car, and it skidded off the road and overturned, said police. The vehicle came to a rest on its wheels, 30-40 yards down a steep embankment.
Agger was wearing her seatbelt and the vehicle’s airbags deployed. Agger had to be extricated from the vehicle and was flown by the Lifeflight helicopter to CMMC in Lewiston with unknown injuries, police said. The medical chopper landed in a field behind a nearby church.
Vance said speed is a factor in the crash and the cause remains under investigation. Sidney Fire/Rescue and Delta Ambulance personnel assisted at the crash site.
