UMaine shortstop Felicia Lennon had one hit in the doubleheader down in Florida today and was it ever a big one. A walk-off 2-run home run to give the Black Bears sweep.

Maine had already beaten Rutgers 5-0 but the Bears were trailing to LIU-Brooklyn 6-5 in the bottom of the 7th inning.

That's when Lennon stepped to the plate with one runner on and ripped a home run to left.

Game over. Maine wins 7-6. Doubleheader sweep.

Molly Flowers pitched a 3-hit shutout in the game one win. She pitched the final two innings in the nightcap to get a second win.

The Black Bears are 8-9 on the Florida trip with one game left Sunday morning.

NOTE: UMaine baseball was rained out in Winter Haven, Florida Saturday. The 5-13 Bears play one more game in Florida, tomorrow vs UMass.
