Your eyes do not deceive you, there really is a Frost Advisory in effect for May 29th, 2014 here in Northern Maine. Don't pack that winter coat away just yet!

According to the National Weather Service Office in Caribou, effected areas include Northeast Aroostook, Northern Penobscot and Southeast Aroostook Counties including the towns and cities of Presque Isle, Caribou, Van Buren, Mars Hill, Millinocket, East Millinocket, Houlton, Hodgdon, Sherman and Smyrna Mills.

A Frost Advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Thursday with temperatures ranging from 33 degrees to 38 degrees.

If you've already planted your garden this Spring, you may want to cover it as sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
