Land Speed Racing returns to Loring just Weeks After the Death of Bill Warner
Just over 6 weeks after the tragic death of Bill Warner, racers will hit the pavement at the Loring Commerce Center on August 31st and September 1st.
Records are expected to be broken this weekend in several divisions according to event director Tim Kelly.
Expect to see Local racers Bob Kilcollins from Fort Fairfield with his GT500 Mustang, Jason Theriault and Jesse Michaud from Caribou, the Gustafson Racing team from Augusta, and Jody Perewitz daughter of Discovery Channel Bikers Build Off Champion, Dave Perewitz.
Racing starts Saturday, August 31st from 8:00am to 5:00pm and continues on Sunday, September 1st from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Admission is $10 per day or you can purchase a weekend pass for $15.
