John Lackey outdueled Jon Lester in game one the National League Divisional Series between the St.Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs. The Cards shut down Cubbies 4-0.

Lester pitched 7.1 innings and allowed only three baseruners.

His former Red Sox teammate Jon Lester gave up three runs in 7.1 innings. He struck out nine.
