Koizar Named America East Player Of Week

UMaine junior guard Sigi Koizar has been named America East Conference Player of the Week for her work last week when here Black Bears went 3-1.

Koizar was named the the Gulf Coast Showcase All-Tourney team, helping Maine to wins over LSU and Missouri State and finishing in 5th place with a 2-1 record.

The Black Bears also beat Central Conneticut State last week.

For the week, Koizar averaged 19 points per game along with 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

Maine is 5-3 with a matchup against Colby next on the schedule - a game at the Cross Center in Bangor tomorrow night at 7pm.
