The West District RCMP is asking for the public's help in locating a 24-year-old man from Kingsclear First Nation wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in connection with a violent home invasion.

Members of the Keswick RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion on Kingsclear First Nation around 11:15 a.m. on December 18, 2017, according to Corporal Peter Lach.

The suspect, Dustin Sacobie, was charged on Friday, February 2 with aggravated assault, unlawful confinement, robbery and break and enter. Police say a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest.

Sacobie is described as 6 feet tall, 250 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos, including the word "Warrior" on his chest, a rosary on his left hand, and several other tattoos on his hands and arms.

Police believe he may be in the Fredericton area. Members of the public are advised not to approach him but to report any sighting to police.
