King Held “Capitol Class” with Hodgdon High School
Something pretty cool took place for some students at Hodgdon High School on Wednesday!
Independent U.S. Senator Angus King held “Capitol Class” via Skype with students from teacher Brian Fitzpatrick's Hodgdon High School Freshman Government class on Wednesday morning. Capitol Class is Senator King’s effort to video conference with as many high schools across Maine as possible while he is in Washington, D.C.
King said, “It’s always great to talk with motivated and thoughtful Maine students, and the young men and women at Hodgdon High School certainly fit that description,” Senator King said. “Mr. Fitzpatrick’s students were well-prepared, asked insightful and challenging questions, and demonstrated that Maine has a very bright future. These video conferences are a lot of fun for me, and I hope the group in Hodgdon enjoyed it as much as I did!”
