Following eight years of online broadcasting, Kenny Chesney's No Shoes Radio is joining SiriusXM's channel lineup, and the country superstar has big plans to celebrate the new partnership.

No Shoes Radio will begin broadcasting on SiriusXM at 6PM on April 12. The station will be available on channel 62 on SiriusXM-enabled devices, and through the SiriusXM app. One month later, Chesney will play a club show at Asbury Park, N.J.'s famous Stone Pony and broadcast the concert live on No Shoes Radio.

“I love to grow and learn and expand. I think you can always be better, smarter and find new ways to do things," Chesney says in a press release. “For No Shoes Radio, which was a labor of love, we’re taking it into a whole new room -- and who knows what might happen? And to celebrate, I figure we should do what we all love: make some music!"

Chesney launched No Shoes Radio in 2008; the channel plays everything from country and bluegrass to reggae and rock, including demos and live recordings.

“Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about music. No Shoes Radio started, in part, because of people asking what some of the songs we played between sets at our shows were," Chesney explains. "I’ve always believed people listen to everything. I know I do, and I think the people of the No Shoes Nation are a lot like me. They’ve been listening to No Shoes Radio for the last eight years, and they’ve let me know they like it."

Listeners will also likely hear plenty of Chesney's newest single, "Noise." The artist released the song on March 24, as the first single from his forthcoming new album.
