Kelly Clarkson’s Miracle on Broadway Benefit Concert Is Returning in 2016

Kelly Clarkson has announced a benefit concert set to take place in Nashville in December. The singer's second Miracle on Broadway charity show is set to take place at Bridgestone Arena on Dec. 16.

Clarkson's first Miracle on Broadway concert took place in Music City in 2014; that year, the event raised $400,000 for the Fruition Fund, established by Clarkson through the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, which then distributed funds to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, the Monroe Harding Children’s Home, the Second Harvest Food Bank and Thistle Farms. In 2016, proceeds from the Miracle on Broadway will benefit Abe’s Garden, the Nashville Public Library Fund, the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and the W.O. Smith Nashville Community Music School -- all charities selected by Clarkson.

“I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have in store for this year’s Miracle on Broadway!” Clarkson says in a press release (quote via Taste of Country). “At our last event, we raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for some great Nashville organizations, and this year we are aiming to do the same. I’m looking forward to singing with some amazing artists and putting on one hell of a Christmas show!”

In addition to Clarkson, artists set to take the stage at the 2016 Miracle on Broadway show include Reba McEntire, Ronnie Dunn, Kelsea Ballerini, RaeLynn, Charles Esten and the SteelDrivers. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets for Clarkson's charity show are set to go on sale on Nov. 4 at 10AM CT through Ticketmaster. Tickets are priced from $29.75 to $49.75.

In addition to her holiday benefit concert, Clarkson will be performing at the 2016 National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and will serve as grand marshal for the 63rd annual Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade in Nashville.
