Keith Urban stopped by Sirius XM’s Music City Theater in Nashville on Monday (Jan. 11) to announce his new 2016 Ripcord Tour, also treating the Highway listeners to a unique live performance of Adele’s "Rolling in the Deep" with Brett Eldredge and breakout artist Maren Morris. The pair will join Urban on tour this summer.

Morris, with her smoky, rich vocals, owns the first verse, nailing the emotion of the song from the first note. Though she stumbles over the lyrics in the pre-chorus section, Eldredge and Urban help out in the background before joining in for a beautifully blended three-part harmony on the chorus. Eldredge takes on the second verse, and his voice is surprisingly well-suited for the soulful song. Urban steps in for the pre-chorus with the other two singing harmonies, until repeating the chorus with Morris on the melody.

Fans ate it up, evident by their hoops and hollers along the way and enthusiastic applause at the end. Listen to the full impromptu cover above.

After mysteriously teasing a special announcement for weeks, Urban finally unveiled the news about the tour. The Ripcord Tour kicks off in early June, hitting more than 50 cities through November, with Eldredge and Morris by his side.

“I’m seriously chomping at the bit to kick off this tour,” Urban says in a press release. “We’ll be playing a lot of new music from Ripcord, all new production, new cities where we’ve never played … and Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris? It’s gonna be potent and unbridled!”

Eldredge couldn’t wait to join him. “I was a Keith Urban fan long before I ever got this music thing going,” he adds. “He is an absolute powerhouse on stage — unlike anyone I’ve ever seen and to top it all off, one of the most down to earth people I know! The Ripcord tour is gonna be on fire! Get ready!”
