If you walked by a guitar-playing guy with long blond hair on Wednesday (Feb. 1) in Nashville's Lower Broadway area, you might have walked by country superstar Keith Urban ... in disguise. The singer was recording a short video, singing his hit "Wasted Time," while wearing a wig and a black baseball cap, reports the Tennessean, for an upcoming industry event.

“We’re doing a little craziness for CRS,” Urban told the newspaper. “We’re just doing something a little crazy on the streets today in Nashville, doing a little busking. We made $8. It’s pretty good.”

Urban's video is specifically part of the annual Country Radio Seminar's New Faces of Country Music show; the conference is scheduled to take place Feb. 22-24 in Nashville, with the New Faces event set for Feb. 24. According to the TennesseanBrad Paisley and Blake Shelton are reportedly up to a few tricks for CRS as well.

Country Music's Best Guitarists

CRS is attended by more than 1,000 country music industry professionals each year; CRS 2017 will take place at the Omni hotel in downtown Nashville.

Urban has a busy few weeks ahead of him: He is nominated at the 2017 Grammy Awards for Best Country Album (Ripcord), Best Country Song (“Blue Ain’t Your Color”) and Best Country Solo Performance (also “Blue Ain’t Your Color), and he'll perform with Carrie Underwood at the ceremony as well; though no details have surfaced regarding their song selection, Urban's newest studio album, Ripcord, includes a duet with Underwood, called “The Fighter.” Then, on Feb. 14, Urban will perform, along with Little Big Town, at a special Grammys event honoring the Bee Gees.
