Jon Wolfe has earned a rabid fanbase in Texas and beyond by carrying the torch for traditional country music, and his fans will no doubt love his upcoming album, Any Night in Texas. The new single from the project, "Baby This and Baby That," finds Wolfe in a playful mood.

Wolfe reflects humorously on relationships in the song, confessing that he's powerless to resist his woman's charms. "When she's all baby this and baby that / I'm like a runaway train running out of track / There ain't no holding me back when she's all baby this and baby that," Wolfe sings. "When she's all come over here and give me a kiss / The look in her eyes, hands on her hips / I don't stand a chance when she's all baby this and baby that."

The singer-songwriter has chosen to release a song he did not write for the second single from his next album. "Baby This and Baby That" is debuting exclusively with Taste of Country.

"I try to write as much as I can on my albums, but when I heard this song I knew I wanted to cut it. I feel like this song has one of the strongest hooks I've heard in a long time," Wolfe says. "And it's a perfect summertime jam. It has elements of 90's country songs, which happen to be my favorite, and yet it's as modern as anything you might hear on country radio. 'Baby That and Baby That' ... I hope you turn it up loud and enjoy it as much as I do!"

The Austin-based singer was born and raised in Oklahoma, but he took a detour through the big city on his way to a career in country music, working as a commodities trader in Chicago before finally making the decision to pursue music full time. He is set to release Any Night in Texas on June 16. The album's first single, "Boots on a Dance Floor," reached No. 1 on the Texas Regional Radio Report and has received more than 470,000 total plays on Spotify.

Any Night in Texas will be available for pre-order via iTunes beginning Friday (April 14). For more information about Jon Wolfe, visit his official website or follow him on Facebook and Twitter.
