Over the weekend, my husband and I got a rare moment to ourselves, and what did we do? We went to the movies, of course! We saw 'Taken 2' at the Temple Theatre in Houlton. There was a great crowd. People were just as eager to see this flick as we were.

'Taken 2' is the sequel to 'Taken' which came out in 2008. In 'Taken 2' Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, a retired CIA agent. The plot is pretty simple, really. Mills is in Istanbul on business and invites his estranged family to come along to get away and clear their heads. When the family arrives, a gang of thugs out for revenge against him abduct Mills and wife Lenore, played by Famke Janssen as they are getting reacquainted. Kim, Mills’ daughter, played by Maggie Grace, stays behind at the hotel. And it’s a good thing she does!

Kim manages to escape the thugs that are out looking for her. Mills always has some tricks up his sleeve and gets in touch with Kim. If it weren’t for her, the whole family would end up dead.

This is definitely an action driven flick. I think my favorite quote of the whole movie was:

Bryan Mills: "Can you shoot?"

Kim: "No."

Bryan Mills: "Then drive!"

In my opinion this is definitely a movie worth seeing. If you liked the first movie, then 'Take 2' is sure to please!
