Jimmy Osmond, the youngest of the famous Osmond children, suffered a stroke during a performance of Peter Pan in Birmingham, England, last week. The 55-year-old was playing Captain Hook and finished the show before being rushed to the hospital.

The BBC reported the news, sharing Jimmy Osmond's representative's statement that he pushed through the performance and was later diagnosed with a stroke. It's not his first. USA Today points out he suffered a stroke in 2004 that was caused by a hole in his heart that didn't close after birth.

The pop star known as "Little Jimmy" enjoyed success as a solo artist and as a member of the American sibling group the Osmonds throughout the '70s. Donny Osmond is perhaps the most famous of the group. On Tuesday, he shared a photo of him with Jimmy on Twitter and asked for prayers:

Marie Osmond shared the news and asked for prayers via Twitter on Monday. The incident happened at the Hippodrome in Birmingham last Thursday, Dec. 27. She is the Osmond most closely associated with country music, having scored multiple hits in the '80s, including "Meet Me in Montana" with Dan Seals. In 2011 she and Donny released an album called Donny and Marie that played well with country audiences. They did interviews with several publications, including the Boot.

Jimmy Osmond's music was most successful in Europe and Japan. He is married with four kids.
