The Grand Falls RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help solve a break, enter and theft into a home in Saint-Anne-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick. 

During the overnight hours between Sunday August 14 and Monday August 15, one or more individuals broke into a home on Jacques Martin Road in Saint-Anne-de-Madawaska.

Cst. Steve Gagnon of the Grand Falls Detachment  says a number of items were stolen, including jewelery, a quantity of cash, and two antique firearms.

Police say the firearms were locked and secured properly, but a pry bar was used to gain access to them.

Anyone with information about this crime or who may have seen anything suspicious in the area on the night in question is asked to contact the Grand Falls RCMP at 506-473-3137.

Constable Gagnon says the investigation is ongoing.
