A shocker on the NASCAR scene today when four-time champion Jeff Gordon announced 2015 will be his final year as a full-time driver.

Gordon has spent his entire 23-year career with Hendrick Motorsports as the driver for the #24 car. He has racked up 92 wins. Only Richard Petty and David Pearson won more races.

Gordon has made 761 consecutive starts and could break Ricky Rudd's record of 788 this season.

He is 43-years-old and says he will continue to be heavily involved with Hendrick Motorsports.
