It's been almost six months since Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus and his wife, Allison, brought their baby boy home from the hospital. Now that little Dylan is big enough to sit up by himself, his country star daddy is comfortable sharing adorable pictures of him on Twitter.

While some new parents share horror stories of staying up all night for months on end, changing thousands of dirty diapers and dealing with a constantly cranky baby, it seems like fatherhood is treating DeMarcus pretty well.

The Rascal Flatts bass player tweeted a photo of his smiley son on Saturday morning, sharing that his first son is a delight. "Our baby Dylan is the happiest baby ever!!!" he wrote. He's not lying -- Dylan is one happy kid. In the photo, he's sitting on a plush chair, hugging himself and kicking his feet -- all while holding the biggest grin on his face.

It seems like the DeMarcuses are really getting the hang of parenting. The couple had a little practice with their first child, Madeline Leigh, who is 2, and this time around, the singer is used to juggling family time with his busy tour schedule.

In fact, shortly after Dylan was safely delivered and the bassist knew that his wife and son were okay, he hopped on a plane to Detroit to get back to work on tour.

Although having a new baby has kept DeMarcus busy, the 'Why Wait' hitmaker is still pushing full steam ahead with Rascal Flatts. The entire trio decided to take the holiday season off to spend time with their families, and now they are gearing up to resume their rigorous tour schedule with the winter leg of their Changed Tour on Jan. 10 in Green Bay, Wisc.
