Since its inception in 1985, N.B. Crime Stoppers Inc. has helped solve 8,198 cases.

In addition, tips to Crime Stoppers have resulted in more than 8,835 people being arrested, $8.4 million in property recovered, and an estimated street value of over $70 million worth of drugs being seized.

The program’s success in this province is due in large part to the many volunteers, organizations, sponsors, businesses, media and law enforcement agencies that contribute to its operation," says Sgt. Tammy Ward, Crime Stoppers Police Coordinator.

Equally important are the people who call us with information to help solve crimes, the tipsters.

Because of you, there are fewer criminals and fewer crimes being committed in our communities, which helps people feel safer.  Crime Stoppers is proof that everyday citizens have a vital role to play in combatting and preventing crime."

If you have information on any unsolved crime, and wish to remain anonymous and qualify for a cash award of up to $2,000.00, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or submit your information online at www.crimenb.ca.

You can also provide information by texting TIP212 plus your message to 'CRIMES' (274637), or by downloading the free TipSubmit Mobile App on the GooglePlayTM Market or iPhoneTM.
