Isaiah Thomas heard the chants of 'MVP' reigning down at Boston Garden last night as he led the Celtics to a 120-109 win over James Harden and the Houston Rockets.

Thomas scored 38 points and dished nine assists as the C's put a halt to their three game losing skid against one of the NBA's best teams.

IT now had 20 or more points in 29 straight games and for the 15th time this season he scored 30 or more.

Meanwhile, Harden had to work hard for his 30 points.

The win puts Boston in a tie for first place with Toronto in the loss column in their division. The Celtis are 27-18 while the Raptors are 28-18.
