When the Husson football team lost to Norwich last Saturday, they also lost quarterback Joe Seccareccia who sustained a fractured foot that will end his season. On Thursday's Morning Pitch Show Head Coach Gabby Price confirmed the injury that happened late in the fourth quarter of their loss to the Cadets. Seccareccia stayed in Vermont overnight while doctors placed pins in the foot. The injury will require additional surgery.

The senior quarterback was having a career season with 1,447 yards passing, 19 touchdowns and only 6 interceptions.

Freshman Corey Brandon will replace Seccareccia in Saturday's regular season finale against Mt. Ida at the Winkin Complex. Brandon took over for Seccareccia last week and completed a drive that resulted in his first touchdown pass of the season.

The Eagles are still in the running for postseason play as they hope to grab one of 12 spots in the ECAC playoffs.
