Husson Hosts Rare Friday Night Game

For the first time in five years, the Husson Eagles will play a Friday night football game tonight. And, for the first time ever, the Eagles play the Dean College Bulldogs.

Kick time is 7pm tonight on the new turf at the Winkin Complex on the Bangor campus.

Coach Gabby Price and his Eagles are coming off a bye week. Two weeks ago in the season opener, they lost to Alfred University 35-28. John Smith led the Eagles in rushing with 153 yards. QB Corey Brandon threw for 181 yards.

Dean College is located in Franklin, Massachusetts. It's football program is transitioning into Division III football and will soon join the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference. The Bulldogs lost their first ever D-III game last week to Salve Regina (RI) 24-14.
