The Husson University football team is in the nations capital today for a conference match-up against Gallaudet where they put their undefeated ECFC record on the line. The last time the Eagles lost a conference game was back in 2013 and enter today's game with a record of 3-0 in the ECFC and 4-1 overall. The Eagles and Bison have played close games throughout their history with Husson pulling out a close 12-6 win a year ago.

Two-time ECFC offensive player of the week Joe Seccareccia is playing the best football of his career and has thrown for 1,022 yards and 13 touchdowns. Running back john Smith has churned out 818 yards and 9 touchdowns for and Eagles offense that is averaging 41 points per game.

The Husson defense allows only 17 points per game which does not bode well for the Bison who have switched from a run oriented offense to spread offense that tries to air the ball out. Success has come slowly as the Gallaudet has only scored a total of 44 points in their 5 games.
