The Holiday season is once again upon us, and many towns in our area do it up right and in a big way! The town of Houlton is no exception!

There is lots going on around Houlton over the next couple of weeks for you to enjoy.

The Houlton Winter Crafts & Gifts Fair will be held on Friday, November 28th and Saturday, November 29th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. This ever popular event is FREE to the public and there will be 57 different exhibitors! Make plans today to attend & get a some of your Christmas shopping done locally.

Also on Saturday, November 29th, check out Small Town Saturday by visiting downtown Houlton merchants for some holiday shopping. The festivities will begin at Noon.There will be a bonfire, ornament decorating for the kids, a movie matinee and of course, food!

Houlton's Holiday Light Parade has become an annual tradition over the years in which many families enjoy! That is scheduled to take place that evening.

If you would like to participate in the light parade, you're asked to meet at the Andy's IGA parking lot at 5:30 p.m. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. and head South on North Street to Union Square, the through Market Square.

Santa and Mrs. Clause will get off the float in the Square to light this year's town Christmas Tree. The parade will then proceed on up to the Rec Center.

Santa and Mrs. Clause will make an appearance at the Chamber of Commerce building to meet and greet area children wishing to meet them.
