Some people really get in to the holiday spirit and pull out all the stops when it comes to decorating for Christmas, and a man in Tracey Mills, New Brunswick is no exception!

Townsquare Media Presque Isle recently received an email from the Davenport family in Woodstock talking about how festive their father's home is in Tracey Mills, just across the border from Bridgewater, Maine. It's a great story and very festive indeed. Here's what they wrote,

"My mother or my father's wife passed away in 2008 due to cancer. Around 2010 my father started decorated the house with lights at Christmas time. At first I was a little concerned that he may have retired too early and he may need an extra hobby :).

After response from people in the are and friends/family we realized that he is doing this simply to make people happy. He enjoys people stopping, taking pictures, bringing their children etc.

Since approximately 2010 my father has continued to add and redesign his home both inside and out. My wife and kids are very proud of him and happy that he enjoys making everyone else happy so we decided to pass along a few pics...oh and also we are big fans of 96.9!

After mother had passed, my father has since remarried. She is also a large supporter of my father's festive nature. They both dedicate the lights in memory of my mother.

 Happy Holidays!"

That email really tugged at the heart strings. Here are some of the pictures that the Davenport family shared with us of their father's home all decked out for Christmas.
