Bangor senior Andrew Hillier got on one of those rolls, drilling six three-pointers in the second half and the Rams came from behind to beat Messalonskee 54-45.

The Rams were held to just nine points in the first half and while the Eagles seemed in control, they only had 21 at the half.

Then Bangor got hot in the second half.

Hillier scored 20 points in the half, including those six 3's. He finished with 23.

Liam Harrigan added eight points in the half. Ethan Dorman added six.

The Rams were nine of ten from the foul line in the fourth quarter.

In the end, Bangor outscored Messalonskee 24-15 in the second half.

6-foot-8 center Nick Mayo scored 20 to lead the Eagles but Bangor's defense swarmed him all night and limited his touches.

The win stops Bangor's four game losing skid. The Rams are now 2-4.

Messalonskee is now 3-4.
