High Wind Watch for Aroostook County

It might be a good weekend to hunker down and stay inside where it's warm, because that wind is whipping out there!

According to the National Weather Service office in Caribou, there will be a high wind watch in effect for much of Aroostook County from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.

Winds could reach gusts of up to 60 mph.Wind chills will range from 15 below to 5 above.

Winds could cause downed trees and branches to snap. Numerous power outages are possible.
