Osa was only 5-months old when she was involved in a terrible accident. Osa was hit by a car in Tennessee and her former owners refused to seek any medical care for her injuries. They took her to a parking lot and attempted to sell her for $20. That's when Osa's miracle began.

A kind human paid the $20 and immediately sought medical care for the sweet Australian Cattle Dog pup. A vet evaluated Osa's condition and ultimately determined that she needed to have her right front leg amputated at the end of July. The surgery hasn't stopped Osa from being the same "smart, tough, driven and very eager" dog that she was before the accident. (Photo above taken before surgery.)

Osa is currently in a foster home in Portland, Maine so she's ready to start life with a new forever family that will work with her to be the perfect companion. She can be bossy, so her future family will have to work to combat some habits with other dogs.

Can you help Osa know a loving family after a rough start to life?
