Hearing to Determine if 16 Year Old Will be Tried as Adult
A Monday hearing will help a judge determine whether one of the youngest people to be charged with murder in Maine should be tried as an adult for the crime.
Law enforcement officials say a 16-year-old boy, along with 18-year-old Reginald Dobbins, killed a Houlton man whose body was found inside his mobile home in March.
No details have been released on how Keith Suitter died. Suitter, a military veteran, ran a painting business and lived alone. Police say the teens were arrested five days after his body was found.
