Chalk up another marathon game for the Boston Red Sox only this time the Sox leave the game a winner. Hanley Ramirez ripped a home run in the bottom of the 15th inning to beat the Blue Jays 5-4 last night/early this morning.

The blast over the leftfield wall ended a 4-hour 59-minute game - and that was after a one hour rain delay before they throw the first pitch.

Hector Velasquez pitched four shutout innings to get the win.

Earlier in the game, Chris Young and Dustin Pedroia hit solo homers.

The victory puts the Sox at 53-42 and keeps them two games up on Tampa Bay and 3.5 up on the Yankees.
