UMaine senior Mikaela Gustafsson pumped in a career high 18 points to help her Black Bears score a 59-41 win at Dartmouth College.

Maine's defense held the Big Green to just three in the first quarter and the Bears held a 26-12 lead at the half.

Dartmouth got back into the game with 21 third quarter points but Maine came back with 21 of their own in the fourth quarter and won it by 16.

The win puts the Black Bears at 7-4. Dartmouth dips to 1-7.

Along with Gustafsson's 18, Sigi Koizar scored 15 and Bella Swan had 8 points, 9 rebounds.

The Bears are off until Saturday when they host Bryant at the Cross Center in Bangor.
